In the "Family Meets Family" project, I designed a visual language that connects those affected by the events of October 7th with veteran bereaved families. The project aimed to address the need for support that arose at the beginning of the war, when there were not enough therapists available to help families in need. The design features two broken hearts meeting, in soft shades of pink and purple, symbolizing the shared pain and loss experienced by both groups—those recently affected and those who have carried their grief for a long time. The meeting of the hearts represents empathy, connection, and mutual support, with the overall design conveying a sense of hope, gentleness, and community solidarity.
